Our Policies
Music lessons and classes are a partnership between student, parent, and teacher; all three parts are equally important, and lacking one of these three parts might inhibit success! Lessons are scheduled at mutually agreeable times and are set for the school year. Please look over the policies and let us know if there are any questions. At enrollment, you will be sent login information, welcome letter and a policy sheet.
Attendance
Lesson times are permanent for the year and scheduled at a mutually convenient time for the student and teacher. Regular attendance is expected and necessary for progress. At any time, the teacher has a right to drop a student for too many missed lessons.
Cancellations
Please give us at least 24-hours notice to cancel a lesson. Ultimately, makeup lessons are solely up to the the teacher’s discretion based on their teaching schedule. Up to 3 makeup lessons can be carried through August 31 (after the completed school year). Lessons missed by the teacher or due to a school closing will be made up. Refunds are not given for missed lessons.
Withdrawals
Commitment to lessons should be very important to parents, students, and their teacher. If for any reason you can not fulfill your commitment through the end of the term, students may withdraw from lessons with 1 month verbal or written notice to the teacher.
Summer Lessons
Charges for summer lessons are divided into 3 payments due June, July, & August.
