Teodora Pounds, piano, voice, guitar, & ukulele
Teodora Simona Pounds moved to the US from Romania in 2019 as a permanent resident with her amazing husband. Her experience in music is extensive. She began taking guitar lessons at the age of 6 years old, and then began her studies of piano, clarinet, voice, mandolin, music theory and music history.
She graduated with a certificate in clarinet, piano, voice, and music theory. She has also performed with her school orchestra and the choir. In addition, she has been a church music director and led worship in many churches. One of her passions has been working on a project for a children’s book where she composed melodies for 52 different songs!
For me, teaching is a joy, is rewarding, fun and energizing and believes music has a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of the students and their families.
We are so happy she has joined our amazing MSS team and are thrilled she is going to share her talents and passion with our students!
