GENERAL INFORMATION: Private lesson tuition is charged every month divided into 9 equal payments. Registration is for the school year. (see more in Pricing) Piano students are required to have a piano or full size (88 key) keyboard at home All New Students need to book a Free Consultation so we can place with the appropriate teacher. New Students may be accepted any time as long as we have room! Commitment in Private Lessons is for the school year: September through May 30-minute lessons are appropriate for pre-K through 2nd graders. A minimum of 6 lessons are REQUIRED to save your spot for the following school year. Saturday Unique Bonus (SUB) are available once a month for all private students.
PRICING: Tuition includes lessons and lesson planning for the school year (September-May). Monthly price is based on the number of lessons for the school year divided into an even 9-month payment (school breaks and holidays accounted for). Music, festivals, contests, and recitals are charged extra at appropriate times because they are different for every student. Approximate prices for events are listed below.
Student Music: $2.99 and up: we buy our music from Nadine's Music Manor because we love supporting our local music store
Studio Recitals: $25-$50 per student (includes programs, any awards, recital fees, & audience)
DMTA Sonatina-Sonata-Baroque Festival: $20-$30 per student
DMTA Achievement Auditions: $25-$35 per student
DMTA Jazz.Pop Festival & Contest: $15-$25 per student
TMTA State Theory Test: $15-$20 per student; Student Affiliate Fee: $15-$20
All fees once charged are non-refundable
REGISTRATION FEE: A one time registration fee of $60 is charged for all new private lesson students. This includes a new student binder, bag, and a first set of method books.
SCHEDULING: We do not offer lessons for missed lessons, however, we do encourage students to register for a SUB class Lessons day and time stay the same for the school year.
RE-ENROLLMENT & SUMMER MONTHS: Summer lessons/camps are on a separate monthly basis. More on summer lessons here!
